ROSEMARY AND LEMON SOLID SHAMPOO BAR
I have chosen rosemary and lemon as a perfume for my DUO; both essential oils are known for their benefits in hair care. But you can choose whatever essential oils you like; make sure not to exceed the overall concentration of over 2%
Shampoo bar recipe:
- 50 g of SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate surfactant – you can order here)
- 10 g of SCS (Sodium Coco-Sulfate surfactant – you can order here)
- 8 g of Cocamidopropyl betaine (mild surfactant – you can order here)
- 7 g of Cetearyl alcohol (you can order here)
- 5 g of cacao butter (you can order here)
- 2 g of green French clay
- 15 g of apple vinegar
- Preservative – I use 1% of Spectratrat G2N, but you can take any other broad-spectrum oil-soluble preservative, just follow the usage instruction provided by the seller
- 1 g of silk proteins (or any other hair conditioning active ingredient)
- 1 g of essential oils (I have added 0,6 g of Lemon EO and 0,4 g of Rosemary EO)
CONDITIONING BAR RECIPE
- 42,2 g of BTMS25 (you can order here)
- 40 g of Cetearyl alcohol (you can order it here)
- 8 g of fractionated coconut (MCT) oil (you can order it here)
- 2 g of virgin avocado oil (you can order it here)
- 4 g of lemon glycerite (I make one myself at home)
- Preservative – I use 1% of Spectratrat G2N, but you can take any other broad-spectrum oil-soluble preservative, follow the dosage instruction provided by the seller
