EMULSION-BASED NATURAL DEODORANT
Normally a roll-on deodorant is either a gel-based or emulsion-based product. In this post, I will share the gentle and creamy deodorant recipe that moisturizes the skin and provides effective and long-lasting protection.
NATURAL ROLL-ON DEODORANT
This product is made with professional natural cosmetic ingredients, but don’t be confused! Today you can purchase it on hundreds of websites worldwide (like amazon.com, where you can find almost anything). I have also made a list of useful websites in different countries, and you can have a look here and find one that operates in your region here.
We are making an emulsion (cream) and charging it with odor-fighting and antimicrobial actives. The final product has a lovely, velvety, and creamy texture, very comfortable and gentle even on sensitive skin. Nature-derived actives provide long-lasting protection, and May Chang, Lavender, and Palmarosa essential oils give the deodorant sublime floral perfume.
NATURAL ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Let’s ger a closer look on our natural active ingredients and see how exactly they can protect you from bad odors.
zinc ricinoleate
Zinc ricinoleate is a natural ingredient derived from castor oil that’s often used in deodorants. It’s great at neutralizing odors, which makes it perfect for keeping body odor in check.
How does it work? Well, when you sweat, bacteria breaks down the sweat and creates those not-so-pleasant odors. Zinc ricinoleate steps in and traps those odor molecules, so you stay fresh.
Why choose it? It’s a safe and natural option, free from the potentially harmful stuff found in regular deodorants. Plus, it’s gentle on the skin and won’t cause irritation, making it a good choice for sensitive skin.
So, when you’re looking for a deodorant that fights odor effectively without using harsh chemicals, zinc ricinoleate is a smart choice. It’s a natural way to stay fresh all day long!
Decalact Deo
Decalact Deo is made by Evonik, and it basically the combination of 3 potent ingredients – Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate (mild antimicrobial agent) Triethyl Citrate and Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil.
Triethyl Citrate is a natural ingredient found in many green deodorants. It helps combat body odor by creating an environment that’s unfriendly to odor-causing bacteria – Triethyl Citrate adjusts the pH of your skin, making it harder for these bacteria to grow and cause odors.
Beyond its odor-fighting abilities, Triethyl Citrate also helps control moisture, keeping you feeling dry. It’s a gentle and safe option for deodorants, offering a natural way to stay fresh without harsh chemicals.
Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil is an essential oil derived from the sage plant. It is commonly used in natural deodorants due to its antimicrobial and astringent properties. Sage oil helps inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria on the skin, reducing body odor. Its astringent properties also help to minimize sweat production, keeping you feeling drier.
In addition to its functional benefits, Sage Oil adds a pleasant herbal scent to deodorants.
Complex déodorant (farnesol)
Farnesol is a natural component found in essential oils like citronella, neroli, and rose. It’s often used in natural deodorants due to its ability to fight odor-causing bacteria on the skin: by keeping bacterial growth in check, farnesol helps prevent unpleasant smells.
In natural deodorants, farnesol offers a more gentle and eco-friendly approach compared to synthetic antibacterial agents. It’s a great option for those looking for a natural way to address body odor.
These three ingredients together work in synergy and protect from lousy odor without suppressing perspiration. No parabens, aluminum salts, or doubtful components – only nature-derived or nature-identical ingredients that provide great results!
